Knudsens project
Finally i got myself a bit together and started taking the Hachi apart. So far the rust areas isnt that bad, i had expected the few places i found.

More pictures will follow along with the project.

Even my girlfriend got her hands a bit dirty, her only condition to help along was that she could help me put it back together again. Thumbs up!

Doesn't look too bad (yet?!?). How much are you going to do with it?

BTW it wasn't very hard agreeing to your girlfriends terms was it??? Thumbs up!

No actually the car is pretty desent, but my thoughts was that i had to restore it now, before the project would be to big.

It needs new front wings, new doors, new rear arches, new hatch and rustrepairs on the things that always follows when a car is torn apart. The engine is coming out so the enginebay can be paintet, and finally the hole car is being resprayed.

Unfortunatly im not getting the 4agze as expected, so im planning some mild tuning on the stock engine. Afterall it has only 150000 km on it, so it should be healthy enough. Needs a overhaul on the head and a new gasket between block and oilpan.

Hmmm, don't think my gf will assist me in taking the car apart. Big Grin
But it doesn't look too bad. Not too much rust. Smile

No im pretty happy that it looks like it does. But it has had rustprevented treatment every year since new, so i guess thats why i look that good.
