Yes, use LSD oil. look for the LS in the name.
Like: Silkolene BOA 90LS or Valvoline HP GL-5 LS 80W-90

Here is a link to cusco 80w90 and 80w140 oil:
http://www.cusco.co.jp/en/parts_product/...d_oil.html

The 80w140 oil is for race use, big tires/load/power etc..

Well, i checked my oil seller webpage and it says the following

Quote:SILKTRAN SYN 5 fully synthetic gear oil is a multifunction product designed primarily for use in manual transmissions and final drive units, including road and competition limited-slip differentials.

http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-850-silkolen...r-oil.aspx

So i think i have no problem using it but i will ask Guy, from Opie Oils.
What do you guys think?

Regards,
Pedro[/quote]

not sure about that.
But kaaz says in their FAQ page http://www.kaazusa.com/techhelp2.html

DO NOT USE SYNTHETIC BASE OIL ON KAAZ LSD.

It is important to use 80W/90 GL-5 specification gear oil on Kaaz LSD. We highly recommend using our own Kaaz LSD fluid. DO NOT USE SYNTHETIC BASE OIL ON KAAZ LSD. Kaaz LSD may not function smoothly.

You're right Gon,

Guy from OpieOils said "I would check with the Kaaz manual but I believe they recomend a mineral diff oil, our suggestion would be the Silkolene BOA90ls."

I will order it immediately...

Thank you all.

I had the same experience, here is my topic on this matter, you may find it interesting:
http://www.aeu86.org/viewtopic/new-kaaz-...highlight=

Now the car has about 2000-3000 km on it after the diff change and those noises are gone (hopefully for good) Wink
