@Aggi: Thanks dude! What do you mean with "stock yet"? I mounted a hole suspension kit. And yes I know which colour he becomes! :wink:
It´s a original VW colour...hazelbrown met. from the same year the car im from. It´s a very dark brown...looks realy nice in real life!

After 1mio years of none posting I should make a little update.

Well! It´s nearly done! In the time from the last post till today I worked not often but very hard on the projekt! I bought new old fenders and expended them on my own after I had seen what the owner before me had done!
Here you can see one of mine:



After I had make the hole car ready for the paintjob it was getting realy serious because it would be my first "full painjob".
But at last I was happy about the finish!





But there is one thing I don´t like at all: The colour of the rims. With the dark grey metalic (from Saab by the way) it makes the hole car to dark!

What the hell kind of front fenders are those??? I love 'em! Evil looking Vdub you got there, I dont think the rims are too dark by the wway.

I maked the fenders on my own! They must be expended so whide in the front that I can handle the big rims (8Jx13).

My thought is to make the "star" of the classics in a nice yellow gold! Should be a nice contrast to the graphit gray! Or not?

I agree with Ivan: the fender looks beautiful!
Gold would look nice with the dark grey color. Maybe silver with a white center like this ae86??

Hm...looks like the dutch people has an other taste with that stuff. ^^ All of my friends told me that the fenders are toooo heavy for that little car. But it´s nice to hear that someone is with me!
