Well wake up then: the Initial D AE86 was never an original in the story either. According to the storyline Bunta already modified the suspension to great extend before Takumi actually started racing it. Wink

yup and when i got the car from Japan, it had extensive modifications on the suspension. See the reason why i would keep it that way?
Original looking, better handling, and a cult favourite.

Looks good! A mate has one identical to this. Got to love the ole Tofu look!

So did you buy it or were the guy trying to sell it?

When cornering at high speeds, the steering wheel twitches alot, like hard decent turning by itself? is this called bumpsteer?
I have no powersteering with the GTV short steering arms(quickrack) and it is lowered, logically, i am thinking that by lowering it, it may have disrupted the lower arm angle and so giving feedback(esp without powersteering and short arms).
Can this be fixed byn use of RCAs(roll centre adjusters), which claim to fix this and if so, what is the best brand/ spec to get?
Thanks

Recieved my New TRD swaybars and bushes from Japan on Friday.
After struggling with fitting the front one for a long time, we finally succeeded before taking it to Pukekohe race track for testing on saturday.
The improvement in handling on the road was outstanding, it just stuck to the road through corners.
Pukekohe was awsome, only about 10 other cars there in total, love out-braking the high horsepower cars!
Swaybars:
TRD
Front:#48810-AE800 24mm
Rear:#48830-AE810 16mm

To install front you must drop both radius brackets then fit bush cradles before the end linkages. still very difficult with the hard TRD bushes to get the cradles lined up.(all night lol)
Rear is easy as!(10mins!)
