But I'm still a bit confused about this whole business...one minute I'm doing a job that was going pretty well in my opinion, the next moment I'm sacked and having an interview at another company.
This next job is just for a few months so I'll have to go looking for something different soon.

Something different -and a lot better- in the next months

It's strange because in New Zealand if you are working at a business and they say they are going to have you on a trial period they still by law have to give reason/s to why they decided you weren't suited. Also if you have been working at a business for a good period of time, say over 2 months and you havent signed a contract this still is a unwritten contract law type thing...kind of like common sense. So the employer has to give reason/s to why you are being sacked...or they have to give you the employee 3 writen warnings.

So who knows eh? Confused

i think they did that, james.

They said: 'you don't fit in our profile'.

This is just BS, but 'the law' accepts it

No not a contract problem. There is a group of workers in Holland that can get sacked on a moments notice and that is people working for a job agency.
That as welll.. I completely forgot about that one. They pulled that off with CMG, Cap Gemini and some other big firms. Undecided

Yeah thats true but to me (a picky type person  ) that wouldn't be good enough. They would have to tell me the reason why I didn't fit the profile so that I can understand what went wrong or what I wasnt good at.

I just think that in a court they wouldnt have a leg to stand on because they didnt give a good enough reason. However NZ is alot different when it comes to the employment act than other countrys.

I once read that you shouldnt believe everything you read.
