it's a TA40 Coupe

it is the second generation
This is the facelift version of the 2nd generation of Celica's At first you got the TA22s, then the 'facelifted' TA23s and TA/RA28s. And around 1978 the TA/RA40s came (the ones with the round headlights). Around 1980, i believe, the facelifted version with the square headlights came.
