Hungarian Drifters (the birth of drifting in Hungary)
Hi there!

There is no "past" of drifting in Hungary yet. No events, no tracks, etc. so a few guys decided to make the drift known in the country.
We want to collect the people who want to participiate as drivers or only as spectaculars. We have just founded 4-5 teams and will arrange our FIRST DRIFT DAY IN HUNGARY on May 6, 2006.

Everyone is welcome to join the event btw... Smile

In this topic I will share informations, pictures, videos about our events and everyday-life.

Let's start with a video which is the intro of our first 'Introduce Ourselves' DVD:

Another video about drifting on the same track with a nice white hatch:

Our homepage's Gallery section:

More pictures about upcoming events are coming!

I try to keep this topic up 2 date when you, the forum members are interested in our activity. We try to do our best to make drifting popular in Hungary so I hope that I have to post here often. Smile

Keep it sideways!

Our or yours? Our will be on a gokart racetrack at Kecskemét. Narrow track with tyre killer tarmac.
Where will be yours? But I'm afraid that on the same day we can't visit your event too...

Viamichelin: From Nagykanizsa to Kecskemét

~280km but ~180 on motorway. You have to pay ~6Euros for the motorways (this price is for the shortest available period, 4 days).

This is our first show in the TV: http://www.helppoint.hu/drift/video/ATV.wmv
Only a few minutes and speaking Hungarian but you can see some cars going sideways. Watch that red hatch's perfect slides!

I hope we can arrange a second event at the end of the summer. If you are lucky that will be closer to the Croatian border... Smile (there is a chance for it!)

Thanks for the interest btw.
