That clip is from the 2004 AE86 N2 Special Run in Tsukuba. I also have the full videos of 2005 and 2006 events but they are in japanese only. The "unofficial" N2 race from 1998 can be found on the Best Motoring Video Special 42 (the other one of the AE86 specials). I've been looking for videos of the 1999-2003 events but haven't had any luck so far..

To help me a bit with building and setting up my own car, I made this;

EDIT: i think they shot Shuto Trials on that touge, taht little tunnel looks very familiar Big Grin

I have both Touge videos (thats the actual name Smile ) and Im still watching them again and again because its simply amazing. The course is Usui-san, Tsuchiyas home course, and yep, thats where were the first Shuto Kousoku Trials shots Smile all the japanese mountain courses are amazing, definetly worth visiting... its a shame we dont have something similar in Europe, only in Alps adn thats quite far away for most of us Confused

We have tons and tons of these kinds of roads in Europe..they are just mountain roads, and I'm 100% sure that there are plenty of those in cz. I've been to some of the roads in Japan (like Irohazaka) and there is nothing quite out of the ordinary with them..just beautifull mountain roads..of which we have none in Holland Banging head

heh, well you live in holland (or flatland as i like to call it Tongue). Those japanese roads are amazing simply because they are so well made and maintained. Our mountain roads have holes, battered-up asphalt, no lighting what so ever, no guardoh railoh, sand and dirt all over the place.. But ther roads just look like they wanna be ridden.

Yes Apolan caught the point, we have some very nice "touges" in cz, but most of them are short and as said, very badly maintained. we have some nice roads even here in Prague, but nothing longer than 500 meters. I know, there are beautiful rural roads everywhere, but one of the basic ingrediences for a "beutiful touge", a tall tall mountains, are missing Sad
btw NoHachi you were at Irohazaka? do you have any pics please Yummie! I was in Japan, but I went to Aichi perfecture, which is the flattest region in the country Banging head but hey, on the other hand, I was living next to rocky autos garage LOL

there are two, called touge 1 and touge 2 Smile I found them on the torrent. Both are at Usui-san, the first one is with a white levin and the second one is with a white trueno. Just search "touge part 1" and 2, Im sure youll find it Smile
