NoHachi Wrote:Good luck finding a reasonably priced hachi with a sound shell. Engines are plentifull and a breeze to swap, so you won't find many ditched cars because their engine died.
I figure it will cost you at least 3000E for a car with a sound shell, with prices now quickly rising to the 4000 mark.

I know it's going to be tough.
I have never seen a Toyota with a blown engine myself, LOL. These cars go on forever.

robokill Wrote:Hey there,

hmmz good luck indeed

seen the blacktop conversion in a TE71 from a friend of mine and the TE71 has a slightly larger engine space and if you don't want to cut or hammer the firewall it will cost you alot to go aftermarket.

My motto is, if you are going to do it, do it right.
So the only choice is to go aftermarket.

Hello from The Netherlands
We blew the gasket out of a 4age while running in the limiter :-(

well breaking a 4age ask ivan he drove on 3 cylinders

seeing the requestet power we did all the math for a nice blacktop

Blacktop 1500 euro's inc transport
aftermarket ecu 2100
New parts blacktop 1000

so lets say 6k for the engine at tops

5 k for the car inc extra's will get you to a car of 12k widely sayd

Cars:
"99 Lexus IS200
"86 AE86 Kouki Panda Levin GT-Apex (restore project)
"84 AE86 Zenki Blue Levin (project racer)
Motorcycles:
"02 Yamaha R1
"02 Honda Hornet S
"08 BMW R1200GS
