Greddy Coilovers
Hi! After hitting against the "TRD spring vs. normal stroke shocks" problem, I'm looking for solutions. One of them is to sell all my suspension and buy a coilover set from greddy, which I think is the best offer for the AE86 market, since it is adjustable and the rear springs keep stock setting and have height adjustability.

Anyway, I havn't seen any review or comments from users of this setting.

Let me know what you think.

Best regards

There are a couple of guys on the forum that got the set if I am not mistaken.

So far I've only heard good things about it. I would buy the set if I hadn't just upgraded my entire suspension alreadySmile

I can double the statement that it's the best on the market if you're looking for complete set, question is - price. Please do tell what's the best price you can find it at!

Apardal,

Check with the kid, or whats his name again? The german guy with the lovely pictures of his girlfriend and his hachi Smile

Anyways, if I am not mistaken he recently imported a greddy set and can get more, don't know if his price is good though...

The only downside to the greddy kit are the spring rates.. 8/6 not something you'd enjoy on most european roads.

Not necessarily a problem, if quality digressive shocks are incorporated into the set...not comparable to koni or AGX's etc... dunno if that is the case.
Has anyone seen any shock dyno's of these shocks? Most quality manufacturers post some up..

Mux, the german guy "kid" sells the greddy coilovers for 1850€. That's far from being a bargain. They sell in ebay for around 1050€. I can get them myself for around 1400€ including shipping and taxes.

And 1400€ is still a bit expensive.

Best regards

Hopefully I'll soon have something to report. Building a new shell, stripped, removed sound deading, painted interior and engine bay, & doing new susp/interior as well as a sr-5 to gt-s swap all at once.

Just got the GT-S swap in and running yesterday Smile
