Godspeed swaybars, any good ?
Does anyone have any experiences about those GSP swaybars that are for sale on EBay ?
Price is quite reasonable, and that's why I started to wonder if they are all toy spec that destroy my hachi's handling or a little upgrade to the old Stock ones Tongue

Swaybars are low low tech.

Only thing companies sometimes get wrong is the fit. So it might take some work with a drill, file etc to properly clearance all bushings and bolt holes to fit.

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear

But becides that are they stiffer than the Stock ones ?
If they are abrovement to the handling i'm willing to fix those little problems, but if not i'll just save some more money and buy the whiteline ones.

The people who use the GS bars seem to like them a lot... in particular
the guys who are into drifting. There does not seem to be any technical
information available on how they stiff they are, but I would guess from
30% to 50% stiffer than the stock GTS bars. Have a read of this...

When I got my car it had been fitted with a heavy front bar, but still had
the OEM rear bar. On a twisting downhill road, braking into a corner, the
car DID NOT want to turn in Confused It was positively dangerous, so I
installed an OEM front bar and the problem went away. The moral of the
story; install uprated bars at both ends if you want a flatter ride Smile

First of all, thanks jondee86 for the lightening link, some of it was old news, but I have learned alot too. And ofcource I was going to change both swaybars, and some more suspension parts because they are, would I say, a little aged

And I have builded confidence from your responces and made a decision to buy these GSP ones, i'll let you guys know how they work when I get my hachi back on the road maybe after 5 years or so... Tongue

Drive fast, or crash when trying...
