Have can I now what cain of gearbox I have on my AE86?

You could try deciphering the vehicle data based on the numbers on the tag hidden on the ehz, firewall iirc.

Should tell you which plant the car was made/assembled, whether it has LSD or not, which gearbox (W/T50 orso) etc...

All AE86s (including SR5) got delivered with a T50, however the AE85 did get the K50 gearbox. If your car still has the same drivetrain it should have the T50 gearbox.

If it got modified you could always post pictures of the box and we could try to determine the gearbox from that. Wink

Correct: it depends on the production plant what it looks like. But all plates should contain basically the same info. This is what mine looked like:
