Final drive calculation.
FYI: Altezza Zenki was 4.1, kouki was 4.3 (TRD of course was 4.56)

I ran 4.88s on mine for a bit, as that is what my MA4x diff had when I did my BEAMS swap with a 5 speed W58. Thinking about going back to them for track use, as it puts my gearing pretty close to just right (I think). I'm currently on 4.56 and with the W58 it is pretty damn good. I also tried 4.3's and those weren't terrible, but not as good as 4.56 and nowhere near as fun as 4.88's.

With the 6 speed, I'd vote 4.3's.

Even if 1st is usable, that wouldn't be a wise option since nobody goes 220+ km/h at track/stage.
On that Aisin gearbox (S15, MX5 and IS200) 1st is pretty much unusable, so one need short FD to use it as 5speed gearbox, from 2nd to 6th Smile.
Btw. that also makes that gearbox kind of "dogleg" one Smile

I vote for a true SCCR gearbox for track/stage use with 4.778+ FD.
For a daily, 6speed gearbox with FD in range from 4.1 to 4.778.
