Sure, if he wants to sell it, i'd love to know it Smile

And i have to postpone some plans.
Licenseplate check will be 2nd of August, so 1 week later Crying

Today i also discovered (while replacing broken wheelbolts) that the right front wheelbearing needs to be replaced, that's also a point which could be a problem @ the check.

But for the rest, it's going well Smile
Hoodpins removed, wheelbolts fixed and started to remove the extra front lights (i'm going to rewire them afterwards, it's a total mess under the dash Smile)

Hiya..the rims that might or might not fit are the old ford escort kind. The PCD is not exactly 4x110, but somehow close enough to fit.
Check out the old RS rims they have..pretty cool oldscool rims.

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear

I saw they are Ford wheels indeed.
It has the Ford logo pressed in the rim, so it must be Smile

I'll leave them on for a while, they're not on the top of my list Smile

Spaghetti behind switch panel Sad

Endresult from today

Lights are of, hoodpins too.
Next in line are the power cutoff thing and the bearing.

And i decided to pull all the extra wiring off and rewire everything afterwards. So that has to be done also.

Today we did a lot, the car is almost ready for it's license check.
Only some small things to do, the big stuff is ready Smile

Checked the boot (also to remove extra wiring), looks pretty good if you ask me:

Now i understand why the weelarches don't show any sign of rust, Tectyl Ltd. did his job Smile
[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Doc's KE20: - really coming together now]

Signal lights work again, seemed to be a bulb which was half broken Undecided I discovered that after i stripped half of my dash Undecided:

This doesn't look good, (but isn't a point @ license check)
[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Doc's KE20: - really coming together now]

But luckily:
[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Doc's KE20: - really coming together now]
Everything underneath is is still quite good!

We took off the Power cutt-off switch with a saw Smile
Removing the panel isn't smart, because the severe rust on the front fender could turn into a hole and then i can get in trouble with mister MOT-man Smile
[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Doc's KE20: - really coming together now]

My seats (it takes a while before you're in, but if you're in..... it feels great Smile
[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Doc's KE20: - really coming together now]

Steeringwheel. I want to buy a snap-off hub, so i can get in and out a bit easier Smile
[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Doc's KE20: - really coming together now]

Rearseats, don't ask how you can get there (it's possible! Big Grin)
[Image: AEU86 AE86 - Doc's KE20: - really coming together now]

Can't do anything then agree Big Grin :

Still 1,5 week to go, exciting..... Smile

//edit:

After the licensce check, i'm going to some body-shops to compare what kinda money they want for the repair of the 2 front fenders.
They really, really need to be fixed, because other fenders aren't for sale anymore Sad
