I was sure you have it, all Corollas in Serbia are Switzerland or German imports and all are T283.

Rebuild kit is 150-200$ + work

Diferential Question
About 99% of the EU spec hachis have LSD.
DJexor has one of the few exceptional cars with an open diff, but that was probably ordered that way. Wink

Diferential Question
parrot Wrote:Chacaman, I think you are saying you have a 6.38 inch drum brake rear (S series diff)? If so, it is highly unlikely you will find an LSD for this. Tosco (TRD) did make them but a very long time ago and virtually unobtainable now.

You will first need to upgrade to a T series rear end with the 6.7inch centre. LSD's for these are readily available.

how i can see the version of my Diff ?
if S or T ?

Diferential Question
Honestly guys
before you start spending money ordering LSD and new bearings and so on.
Pull your drive shaft out and measure it.
Its the safest way.
You dont want to order a LSD which cost you an arm or a leg.
and find out that it only fits earlier or later model.

AE86 is an old car, unless you are the first hand driver and know the full history of the car. Don't just order off the year of manufacturing.
You never know what the pervious owner has done to the car.

Diferential Question
Don't forget that this is only the first part of the partnumber and indicates the part name, not the part itself! So 41110 is the "CARRIER ASSY, DIFFERENTIAL, REAR" for all cars. I made that mistake a few times already!

The GTS axle has a 6.7 inch diff, so it will definitely not fit your SR5 axle.

Diferential Question
Why not just get yourself a kouki disc break rear end?
it would save a lot of trouble.

It would only make it more work for him: besides having to replace the cables with brakelines he would need to change the brake valve and brake booster as well.
