Within a year? Huh

indeed, around 200.

Are they really that unsafe then? Or was that just a saying?

Toyota never sold the ae86 in Ireland!!!!! But you see em every weekend. At a Big international rally there are often up to 50 roaming around. I recon there are far more than 800 ae86s in Ireland, alot of them are on UK plates!!!! esspecially the rally cars. I was @ Irishtwin cams house last year & there was 7 outside his house/garage, we extimated that there are 30 corollas within a few miles west of limerick city. Going to Ireland for 2 weeks, will bring loads of 86 pics back. There are regularly up to 15 on the irishauto trader http://www.autotrader.ie but not all of em come up on-line as they are often in group adds. You have to register though

about 20 years ago, a high powered RWD car with LSD was pretty unsafe yeah Smile
Especially while it wasn't really expensive (like a ferrari or so).
Don't forget, people where used to cars like mine.
50-60 hp sedans. And some 100-120 hp sportscars (like the Celica or so, but they weren't familycars either)
