Crank seal
Also known as Timing Cover Oil Seal...

16V listed as 15100C Part #90311-32001
20V listed as 15100C Part #90311-32018

Toyota Parts Suppliers advise...
Part #90311-32020 replaces:
90080-31014, 90311-32001, 90311-32002, 90311-32017, 90311-32018

So yes, as you might expect, same seal and used on a whole bunch of
other Toyotas also... 4AFE, 7AFE etc. I'll leave it to someone else to look
up the rear seal Smile

Cheers... jondee86

partnumbers change, supliers get replaced, thats why they change a lot for generic parts like oil seals... Some might be brown, some black, but they all do the same job...

they all have to be resistant to the same materials and oils, esspecially the ones that replace a bunch of different numbers.

AFAIK the standard seals are black Nitrile rubber and the high
temperature seals (crank seals) are red/brown Viton. But since
Viton is an elastomer, it can be made in different colours. It would
be unusual to find silicone used for rotating seals, as it is better
suited for static sealing, O-rings etc.
