Good prepping meaning preparing the body before paint. Using the right sand paper necesary and making sure panels are nice, flat and smooth. Then using a wax and grease remover before paint. Then use hi built primer before final coat to ensure panels are smooth and flat and under protection of the paint. Then Two base coats of 2 pac paint. Then Two coats of clear paint. For best results paint in a proper paint booth. Depending on humidity conditions find out whats the best method on letting the paint dry. Then leave for about a week or so and buff any ripples/ orange peel out while the paint isnt too hard. Then just do a final polish. hope u understand

Actually this is what you do alimonos. You get your tail lights, clean them up use a wax and grease remover, then paint a coat of clear over them. Then polish after a week or two.

When you say "a coat of clear" you mean the final vernish we apply to metalic colours? Dumb question
Sorry but i 'm not very good/old in paint jobs that's why i'm asking too many questions... Blush
Hope you don't mind Thumbs up!

yeh almonos your taillights will look better than new. I done it to zenki lights. Yeh they r Rays TE37 Volk racing wheels. 3kg each. 14x6.5 = front 14 x7 = rear. About $550AUD a wheel. Not cheap. But very strong. No engine tuning will be done, 100hp at wheels is enuff power for now. I'd like to do head work, then maybe cams and adjustable cam gears later on, but thats if i can advance my driving skills lol. thanks mate!
