Coilovers?

You won't get through MOT with it!

Hmm then I must make sure I go short stroke before the MOT comes or find some other way to limit the travel of my shocks...

Coilovers?
mux213 Wrote:Hey Max,

My coilovers have free play when fully extended but this is not something that is likely to happen during driving unless you start taking jumps.

Yes, perhaps you’re right. Maybe I could drive like this. Conis should take care of undesirable spring jumping. Only climbing on pedestrian’s way might be a small problem. But, I want to have 100% safe car, until then I will not be satisfied.

Fun is not the straight line!

You could do the same as a friend of mine did with his starlet (the crazy guy is swapping a 3S-GTE into a P7!!). Because he had to use Celica T16 struts with T18 hubs (or something like that, it's a hybrid suspension Big Grin) he really needed a coilover thingy in the front.
He placed a "hulpveer" (dunno the english word for it, an extra spring maybe Big Grin), the red one u see in the picture (which i did'nt rotate Tongue)

The red spring doesn't really interefere with the normal spring, but it just keeps the spring in it's place.
