Car hesitates between 2500-2800 rpm
For a 4AGE with EFI, the ignition timing advance is controlled by the ECU
according to a factory programmed map. The distributor provides rpm
and crank angle information only. If the engine starts and runs with no
obvious problems, then it is safe to assume that both the ignition map in
the ECU and the distributor function are OK.

max_ae86 Wrote:1) I didn't. Going step by step. Other distributor still needs to be fixed (seal leakage) so I need time to finish it.
2) I will, maybe tomorrow.
3) Maybe not, but you never know with 25 old wires.

You can check it with leaking distributor, maybe problem is not there
