Cam Cap Bolt Snapped!!
Hi all,
I was checking my valve clearance and upon removing one of the cam cap bolts, it snapped!! I have about 5mm sticking out of the head and mole grips are not working- they are squashing any meat left of the stud. My first place was to put a nut on the end half way down, fill the hole with super steel and then attempt to unwind it. If that fails i'll have to try and drill it out. Does anyone else have any ideas? Cheers |

Cam Cap Bolt Snapped!!
Put a nut on it and weld it to the remains of the bolt. The heat cycle will help loosen the bolt.
