Quick rack steering.
I talked to a guy named Matt at Quaife today.
He said the racks are available all the time.
I told him about the different versions and the American groupbuy, but he did not know of them.
He gave me his email adres and I mailed the link from the groupbuy to him.
I will call him tommorow and see if we can clear things up.
The price in the UK is 89 pounds, that's 135 euro's or something, not to expensive I think?

I've tried contacting the UK dealers by e-mail a couple of times, but never got any answer. Their price is pretty good, so when things become more clearer, you may count me in for the UK group buy.

I'm interested in buying QSR too.

Hi,

I talked to this guy @ Quaife UK, he did not know about this or any groupbuy.
They had only one version and that's it.
So I called Quaife USA but this guy barely knew what I was talking about and never replied to my mail. Banging head

So I still don't know which version I will get when I order one from the UK. Crying
Perhaps the only way to know is if I buy one and compare it to the american one.

Well, after looking around I came to the conclusion that there is no way to be sure that the UK version is the correct one. Confused
So I will be buying from the American groupbuy.

I have no time arrange more steering racks so anyone who wants one has to sign up for one here: http://forums.club4ag.com/zerothread?id=15231&page=1

My buddy just bought one here in the USA
I do not know if he has installed it yet or not
I think some of the people here were sending the racks out to a second machinist to get the extra teeth cut into it
I am sure you could find some one local to do the same thing
As for me i have the OEM manual rack from a AE86 corolla and it is more than enough for me
but I have not tracked the car in a few years
But around town and up in the back country it is pretty nice
