AI, it is always a hard time finding rust, how is the underside of the car and what are your plans about fixing it. Can you weld yourself?

My shifter rebuild kit from t3 arrived & installed it.
When i took it apart i saw that the little bushing on the shifter itself was completely missing and the others were badly damaged. After installation it shifts really good now.
