The opening is 79.7mm wide and 15.7mm high. I reckon, if needed, you could enlarge the opening slightly and extra 5mm in height and width if necessary (see picture below).

yep that should work. It'll go almost to the edge of the zero and the tip of the water sign but will fit.
Just lookked that one up. If you mount it similar to oringinal under the bezel you could get away with 19mm hight too

If you cut into the water sign I guess you could fit it flush with the top layer of the fascia and have a mm or two spare underneath the zero.
