Looks like DLI Cool Good...good. It's starting to look like this hachi has a few pleasant surprises under the skin.

Is this the megasquirt project car? I know you (jamiemirror) were working on that so it was to be expected. What kind of distributor is that?
I personally like the look of side-mounted coils better, but that distributor leaves little room for that option.
Will this be an edis setup, or will it run on the wheel decoder software? I'm very interested in wheel decoding setups that can use the sensors in the distributor, EDIS is too messy IMO.

Megasquirt - MS'n'S extra - firmware 29g1;

Toyota CAS sensor taken from smallport 4AGZE. Two teeth filed.

Wheel decoder with LM1815 IC - perfect signal - no spikes, bounces ot sth like that.

Ignition - dual VB921 driving stock toyota 4AGZE coils.

All sensors are OEM.

Zeitronix ZT-2 Wideband AFR meter.

----------------------------------
The engine is Hi-comp, small-port Red Top.

I did the whole setup (when i had the parts) within 1 week. The cars runs nicely.

Nice setup... and impressive building speed too Huh
Sounds similar to what I would do if I wanted megasquirt on my hachi (which I dont). I do have a volvo that is still a prime candidate for a fancy setup, so I might be bugging you with questions some time..

I still keep the bluetop+harness with no changes and can put it back if i decide that i want the car stock. No body wire is cut ot removed.
However, next stage is red-top-turbo...

Any questions concerning the setup will be answered with pleasure Wink
