AEU86.ORG or AE86.EU?

As from last friday (ahum, only found out this morning ) we have the domain AE86.EU. I did a pre-registration more than a half-year ago, but only now it has been assigned since we can't register it as a company.

So, now I'm curious what would be more favorable as main address? I'd personally favor the AEU86 since it's already quite known, but on the other hand: AE86.EU is more clear than AEU. So the big question is: AE86.EU or AEU86.ORG?

I think we've been known as aeu86.org to long to change that name now. But I do think ae86.eu is an url we can't pass on.

I would say, keep aeu86.org as the main name we promote ourselves on and just add ae86.eu as a secondairy link.

I would like that we keep primary domain as AEU86.org I dont know what did you mean by "AEU" but for me its mean "All EUropean 86 organisation" Anyway AE86.EU also not bad, but I am agree with Mux

i think AEU86.ORG is a strong name and it's well known i think, keep it as a primary domain and if possible, also keep AE86.EU to get even more visitors

I've grown quite attached to the AEU86 name by now, but ae86.eu is a nice domainname.. My feeling says to stick with aeu86, maybe we can find a good use for the .eu domain.. I dont think that having an easier URL is going to help get more people in anymore since we have forum members all over europe already to spread the word around to other 86 owners.

I think that the AEU86 is beiing too constructed - on a first sight you dont see neither the AE86 nor the EU - the 'magic' caracter chain ae86 is broken up in the middle taking all its charm... so I think the AE86.EU is the ONLY way to go. you can always keep the old ugly name as a link for those who cant keep up with modern life

I agree with PetzK. Nothing beats "AE86" all in one string.

Besides, what would you choose if we were just starting out? It's quite obvious and you can always redirect people with old bookmarks.
