AE86Worldtour's Trueno on display in German Toyota museum
A few weeks ago me and Ibrahim met up with @ae86worldtour. They finished going to the Nurburgring and the initial plan was to come back to NL and park the car at his friend. Then head back to Malaysia and come back to Europe in springitime to visit even more countries! Huh

But apparently plans have changed and the Trueno now has been parked in the German Toyota museum:

Another good reason to visit the museum! Thumbs up!

I went to the Nurburgring to meet Hadri since we were together in Malaysia. Also, Jorge Azcoitia was there!

What a weekend!

That's a cool looking museum that I never knew existed until now, I'll have to check it out some day.

Sadly someone has written all over the bonnet of that Trueno with a marker pen. Will they clean it?

Anyway, looks like the car has a great story behind it, so its good to see it in a museum.

Anyone considering visiting the Toyota Collection here in Köln can join a tour of the TMG museum at the same time, first come first served.

I didn't go last time they did this, but apparently it's very nice to be able to see this bit. It's not open to anyone normally, not even when the normal museum is open.

I can tell you there are some interesting cars there, from F1, WEC, Rally as well as the Lemans GT One.

Worth coming along if anyone is nearby and has the time.

Here's a few shots I took a number of years back:
