Clutch pedal problem
I have another issue with my 83 levin. When I first go to press my clutch the pedal travels about half way before it grabs anything and the biting point is very low, if I let off and press again the pedal grabs alot sooner so my biting point is higher than the first press.

If I rest my foot on the pedal to take up the slack the biting point of the clutch will be half way all the time which is good. If i let the pedal come all the way back out to its resting position and press the pedal it will travel about half way again and the biting point is at the very bottom. Again if I pump it once the biting point will be back to half way.

It has had a new slave cylinder and clutch at one point, only thing left to do is change the master cylinder but obviously I just wanted some advice before I go spending

Thanks

Clutch pedal problem
You are looking in the right direction, you have a hydraulic problem.
If it's the master thats gone, you can often see bubbles in the reservoir when someone is pressing the clutch pedal.
Just look first to see which one is broken before you go spending money.

And make sure the fluid in the reservoir is topped up.
