been offered one of these for the sum of £4500 but I dont know what is special about them, Can anyone tell me what they are and what is differant about them,

I don't think anyone here is really old or wize enough to know for sure if there was a Shanghai Edition at some point in some country, but ask the seller what special features this so-called Shanghai Edition has... Like power steering, aircon, adjustable lumbar support etc.

Roflol...I highly doubt it. BTW, the japanese and chinese never got along that well. Fat chance they would name a car "shanghai edition".
