SMALL UPDATE:

I changed the dash for a "new" one, with just tiny cracks Hurray!

This is the dash I found at one junkyard. Price: $11. Paint: $15. I washed it and cleaned it really good before taking it to the paint shop, so it won't crack easy under the sun.

I started to dissasemble my first ever dash. It was a PITA. I started about 5:30pm and ended up 4 hours later... Banging head

i really don't know, but most of AE86 i see around have the same problem. Maybe because our sun is really hot and we basically have sun the whole year Tongue

A lot of people in the US suffer from a cracked dash as well. Remember Japan isn't as sunny as California. Wink

I suffer from a cracked dash too. Its a combination of sunlight (obviously not the case here) and degredation of the plastic (my problem).

the swifts sitting pretty good, i was afraid the swift will sit alittle too low that looks freaking awesome, still waiting for my tech to finish my coilover Angry CANT WAIT!
