Well, a little update...

Got a Corsica steering wheel and did some cluster mods to go with the light from the recently added gauges.

what do you mean by template?

I didn't use any sticker whatsoever. I've just sanded the original lettering on the cam covers and painted them normally.

No I didnt mean stickers. Did you use a spraycan or brush on the valve cover?

Oh ok!

The zones with letters were spray painted in their colors without any proection around the letters.

Then, everything was sprayed in gray. After a while, the gray paint on top of the letters was removed using a soft sand paper, making the other colors appear.

Well, time to a little update...

Next week I'll go back to Oxford, so I'm trying to work on the car while I can.

Bought a pair of strut bars, front and rear.

The old front strut bar getting out...

...and the new strut bar getting in:

After some cutting and welding, the rear strut bar was in place:

Had to redo the strut bar mountings, otherwise it would have been impossible to mount everything properly.

Worked on the interior a bit too.

Made some metal plates to cover the radio mounting zone and the gear shift lever, and fabricated a new metal mounting plate for the gauges.

The gauges were painted in black, cause the original "greyish" look was a bit to flashy for my taste...

Also got a set of velocity stacks

I need an "ITB'ed engine" to mount them now... Tongue
Maybe a 20V, one of these days... Smile

And one final picture among friends...
