DaveW's Back!!!
HHmm no, not here in Holland anyway, I think you know the same sites as me that sell these cars in Japan.

Are these cars still able to get through the DVLA, I know the Skyline R34 is very hard to do for example.

I bet there are a lot of them on Carsensor and those kind of sites.

If I have time i'll have a look and throw some links on here Smile.

DaveW's Back!!!
Just curious what makes a skyline owner choose an 86, visions from lastnight when one absolutely wiped me out on an A road, got him back later on Big Grin Big Grin Cool but only caus the road was bumpy & his exhaust was hitting the ground Confused
Anyway I passed an R34 Hurray!
Yes Banpei she is settling in to life in Ireland!
But seriously why would you go from a skyline to an 86

An 86 is for Life, not just for Christmas

DaveW's Back!!!
I haven't read, or remembered the reason that Dave sold the car, but it wouldn't surprize me if it was one of these things:

- Everything is extremely expensive on such a car, the parts, maintenance etc. life changes, kids perhaps, so the car is just a bit to much to handle.

- It also might be that his car was just finished, it was one of the most complete cars and best built Skylines nothing more to do on it, so it is time to move on.

- I can also imaging he was afraid to drive it, because of the valeu of the car it might be a bit scary to drive fast knowing the write off he would have if he crashed it.

An AE86 is less of a heartache i think Wink.

But maybe I'm completely wrong altogether Smile.
