7" rims or 8" rims?
Okay I will be getting some new wheels soon.

I was thinking 7x15" with ET20 would fit perfectly. I can then run 195/50/15's.

That's fine, but there aren't that many choices of wheels apart from say Rota Grid V's.

Most of other options seem to be 8" in width. Chay suggested I go for this, but an 8" with ET0 (which is what most seem to be) fit under stock arches?

Also I don't really want to over tyre the car, so am not that keen on going for more than 195's really and I don't think a 195 is going to fit well on an 8" rim, which means I'd need to go for a 7' really.

If anyone knows of other wheels that I can get in a 7" rim then I'd be interested to know about it.

I'm not a fan of the stretched tyre look really. I want my car to handle properly and it will be used on the road and trackdays.

Have you looked at the Rota aleica´s? They´re avaliable in 7" ET0 wich fits the stock arches very well.
With the grid´s 7" +20 you´ll need a 20/25mm spacer to make it look right.

Can´t tell you anything about 8", cause I´ve never tried them on my car...

I don't like the Rota Aleica's. Not a fan of pink really.

I can get 15x7 Rota grid V's through driftworks or Rota wheels.

It'd be great if someone can help with answering my question. Cheers.

I'm running bronze Rota Grid V's 15x8 ET 0 under what i think is stock arches, they fit great and im running 195 rubber on them. The stretch is minimal and my 86 grips crazy in the dry!

15x8 ET0 fit perfectly under the stock arches.
(8" = 203mm, so 195mm tyres are not really streched)

And how it was looking on my car:
