4age camshaft CWC
I currently have a set of cams for the 4age engine, the are supposed to be performance cams, the engravings on the cam are, cwc 271, e23. I was wondering if anyone has the idea of what cams are they and specs would be helpfull, and if it would work with stock ecu map

CWC appears to be a manufacturer of cast camshaft blanks, that
they supply to various camshaft grinders for finishing. I have no
idea which company ground your cams Confused

However, looking at the shape of the lobes it is likely that they are
304 duration cams. That sort of duration is usually associated with
highly modified race engines, with poor idle and only making power
above about 4500 rpm. They will not work well with your stock ECU.
Depending on the lift, they may not work with standard valve springs
or the stock shim over bucket lifters.

Check the lift. If it is less than around 8.0 you could try running them.
If it runs at all, the car will run like crap. Adding a piggyback controller
may get it running a bit better. Best move would be to put them on
the high shelf at the back of the garage until you build that "full race"
motor you always dreamed about

And you are running this on the stock ECU... right ?
So how does it run ?? The stock ECU only has limited ability
to adjust the fuel and ignition. Once the modifications to the
engine go beyond the point where the stock ECU can keep
up, performance and drivability will suffer.

Big cams affect the engine vacuum, particularly at idle, to
the point where the engine may not idle at all. They also
change the amount of air entering the cylinders, so that the
engine may run dangerously lean at high rpm, and ridiculously
rich at low rpm. A duration of 272 deg is usually considered
to be at the limit of the stock ECU.

Raising the compression, porting the head and installing a
free-flowing exhaust, will allow you to take advantage of the
improved breathing of big cams. But until you get control
of the fuel and ignition maps with an after-market ECU, you
will never obtain the full benefit of your modifications.

If they are 271 lift then you should be okay. You need to measure the lift.
