4agZe problem solved - 99% IC problem
Oh HELL NO! I am not gonna do that yet then hahaha.

I will just remove the SC pulley and get a smaller belt - than at least I can drive my 4agze without the Z. and with less power.

But first I gotta see if it works or not. With the smaller belt.

Tomorrow I will go back to the shop with the belts as today I tried 3 different types and they did not fit... Either too small or too big.

So tomorrow I get to test 2 other belts.

Then the supercharger pulley will have no belt running it.
Only my waterpump and crankshaft and tensioner will run and my alternator has its own belt.

I hope it will work so that I can least go to the world-record attempt this saturday in Gemert the Netherlands.

And I also want to take my AE86 to Lelystad because I am invited to DRIVE THE NEW GT86 !

So the AE MUST BE DRIVE-ABLE!

Thats something i have also noted in my agenda since sc is forbidden for rally/criteria.So i will need to remove the sc and run a belt like you try to do now.

Did you try any porsche belts,i can't remember why but i think i heard it somewhere that it should work. Can't give you any confirmation on itSad

Gonna do it like that. So that I can at least drive - and then eventually take off the supercharger pulley to see if its broken.
But lets just hope it will work like this.

Tomorrow I will get 2 belts to try out if its the size I can use.
If that doesn't work I will ask them for a porsche information tho I doubt they have that...

Will keep you (all) posted.

Yes thats the same setup i will need when i dont want to use sc
I can't remember where i heard the bit about the porsche belt but it can be a lead if the other belts dont work.

the bilstein shockdampers from a porsche van also be used for an ae86,thats how mine are.

If all else fails you can always use à couple of big tie-wraps ;-)

LOL... Then I would rather use some shoe-laces...

Anyhow - after driving back and forth for the 6th or 7th time to that parts shop I have a belt now that I think I had before but its too tight...

I need to make it a little bit more flexible so I can put it on.
It's BELT :
5PK718

It's a little too tight just a bit lower than the edges but this should work when I get it on... Maybe I need to leave it outside in the sun or maybe I need to put it in hot water for a few seconds or minutes so I can pop it on.

5PK718 did not work - way too tight - didnt get it over...

So I cut one belt I had laying around (found it by accident) and I need 5PK723.

But that one is nowhere to be found.
